COVID-19 Update 17 August 2020 – Physical Access to our Office

From 17 August 2020, physical access to Ombudsman SA is closed.

Anyone wishing to contact our office, including to make a complaint about a South Australian government department or local council, should do so by emailing us.

If you are unable, for example by reason of disability, to put your complaint in writing, you can call us on 8226 8699.

  • investigates complaints about South Australian government and local government agencies
  • conducts audits of these agencies
  • reviews freedom of information determinations of these agencies
  • receives information about state and local government activities confidentially under the Public Interest Disclosure Act.
